We are two friends who found themselves with a mountain of beeswax from our hives in Austin, Texas and Cuyamungue, NM. As Native Texans with 5 generations of family history firmly rooted in the botanically diverse thickets of East Texas, the idea to combine our love of plants with our grandmothers and mothers’ homemade healing concoctions was born out of necessity as much as out of a need to honor our heritage. With thousands of miles under our belt traveling the south and southwest combined with folk cures from friends, family, curanderas and traiteurs, our goal is to gather and source local ingredients to create small batch solutions that respect the places we’ve been and the stories we have been told.
