Homemade Fermented Vanilla Extract
I became obsessed with food and recipe development 8 years ago when I became a Beekeeper. I became one on a dare and I haven’t looked back since! When I harvested honey, I would bottle it and sell at local Farmers Markets. It was fun at first, but honey is really… just honey. So, I started looking for honey-based food recipes. I started with a toffee-like candy I called Almond Honey Crunch, changed a few ingredients that I didn’t care for, and cooked it. Absolutely delicious! I added it to the table at the Farmers Market and it sold like crazy! That’s how my journey with food started!
Then came the flavored honeys like The Royal Spread: The Original Chocolate Honey, The Gingered Pixie, and Lavender Hopps Honey for better restful nights. I have ventured into honey baked foods, sauces, and even beverage mixers like The Queen Of Scots: Honey Bloody Mary Mix, it comes with a ‘rimmer’ too!
Now I’m an Urban Homesteader and trying to grow as much food out of my backyard. I grow everything that goes in to Marinara sauce and more!
My main gig is lunch and dinner, especially homemade Empanadas. From ground meats to higher-end stuffings like my ‘Mary Had a Little…Lamb’. Ground New Zealand lamb, spices with a delicious fresh mint sauce I grow from my backyard garden, absolutely delicious!
I also provide full family meals and free delivery up to 8 miles from my commercial kitchen.
