Hello! I'm Kandace, a native Texan and the artist behind Good Cheer Paper Co. My artwork is a collection of original block prints, greeting cards, art prints, and stickers designed to bring good cheer into everyday life. I work primarily in two mediums, printmaking and color pencil, and focus on subjects relating to Texas, the Southwest, and nature. If you are unfamiliar with block printing, it is a type of printmaking where the finished artwork is printed from the carved and inked surface of a block of wood or linoleum. Creating multi-colored prints requires a reduction process or carving multiple blocks for each layer of color. The beauty of block printing is no two prints are exactly the same!
