  Priefert
Founded by Marvin Priefert in 1964, Priefert has grown into one of the largest farm, ranch and rodeo equipment manufacturers in the world. When Marvin built his first headgate in a one room shop on his farm, he had no idea that his first piece of ranch equipment would help revolutionize the livestock handling industry and go on to become the foundation of one of the most respected ranch equipment manufacturing companies in the business. Now in its third generation of leadership, Priefert is still family owned and operated. Its product offerings have expanded to include cattle, equine, poultry, canine, and rodeo lines, making Priefert a one stop shop for all your farm, ranch, and rodeo needs.

  Jeri's Seafood, Inc.
Jeri’s Seafood recycles 100% of our shell back to our private reefs, allowing us to grow more than 70% of our harvest. With a heightened awareness of the detrimental effects of increased pressure and over-capitalization on wild public reef oysters, Jeri’s is committed to leading the way in sustainable oyster farming.
Ben and Jeri Nelson paved the way for the current fourth generation of family that manages Jeri’s. The family has lived and worked on Galveston Bay since the 1900’s and has gained extensive knowledge about the oyster resource, Galveston Bay, and the oyster industry. This knowledge is what drives the family legacy to continue being stewards of the bay system and the oyster resource. Jeri’s Seafood wants to ensure that many more generations to come can enjoy the resource and the bay system.
