Texas Party Bingo
The Bingo game comes in a convenient reusable box. A total of 11 people can play the game.
The Thomas Family has been playing games, drinking Margaritas for years at family gathering. Launching the first game, Texas Party Bingo has truly been a family affair. The game was developed during the pandemic as a way for the 30 Doyle family members, located around the state and in Australia, to stay connected with each other and connect with “Roro” the 90-year-old matriarch of the family. Dallas founder, Kathy Thomas solicited help from her niece, Kristi Anderson of San Antonio, to illustrate the original, colorful folk art cards and her daughter-in-law, Kalee Thomas of Dallas to design the game. Throughout the process, extended family members have contributed their ideas and suggestions.
We launched Texas Playing Cards to the merchandise mix. They also include the Texas icons and the fun, informational facts. Our family also loves puzzles so we had to include a 1,000 piece Texas Puzzle.
Since the family has been going to the Texas coast for more than 60 years, we needed a Beach Bingo game. Kathy’s sister Sharon Doyle of San Antonio was solicited to illustrate icons in the creative Bingo game. The game includes facts and trivia about fish, shells, plants, sand creatures and other interesting items that can be found around the sandy beaches and in the ocean. The original illustrations were also used to make the 52 count Beach Playing Cards.
